AutoMotion (16:56) The weather is on my side so I take my opportunity to push my limits and perform a tricky transfer! I wheel to the boot of my car and climb in the boot before pulling in my wheelchair - I almost lose the wheelchair when taking the wheels off but it's just within reach. I move my lifeless lower half about and finally clamber into the driver's seat and my shoe comes off (as usual!). At my destination I transfer from the car to the floor, scoot around to the boot and get the wheelchair out. I manage to get in it from the floor and have to climb in the boot again to get my cushion on!

Amanda Walks on the Alter-G Anti-Gravity Treadmill

Amanda walks on the Alter-G anti-gravity treadmill. Two years ago prior to human embryonic stem cell treatment in India there is no way that I could have done this! Although I don't have muscle power below my knees, I am able to walk on a cushion of air ambulating and placing one foot in front of the other. I amparaplegic. Many of the things i do are either done wrong or incorrectly. Doing things the incorrect way is probably what made me paraplegic in the first place.
